ABOUT MIZMOR:
Mizmor is an American one-man black metal and doom project founded by multi-instrumentalist A.L.N. from Portland, Oregon. Known for its intense and deeply emotional exploration of existential themes, spirituality, and personal struggles, Mizmor combines raw black metal with crushing doom passages. The project began in 2012 as a means for A.L.N. to process his questions about faith and life's meaning, leading to powerful, introspective compositions. Mizmor gained significant attention with the 2016 album "Yodh," and continued to build its reputation with subsequent releases, including "Cairn" (2019) and "Prosaic" (2023). The music is characterized by its atmospheric soundscapes, harrowing vocals, and a profound sense of catharsis.
